Take this opportunity to cross the two bridges of Lisbon, drive through the Arrábida Mountain (a unique nature reserve), visit the wonderful castles of Sesimbra, Setúbal and Palmela, taste the Moscatel Wine at the wine cellar of Azeitão, and learn how the handmade glazed tiles called "Azulejos" are made.
We’ll cross the emblematic 25th of April Bridge in direction to Sesimbra. Once there, we’ll visit its Charming Castle and pass by the village in direction to Azeitão.
In Azeitão, we’ll visit one of the famous cellars of the Moscatel Wine, a generous wine made of Moscatel grapes. If it is in your interest, we’ll also visit the factory of handmade glazed tiles, and then take a scenic tour through the Arrábida Mountain in direction to Setúbal.
Once in Setúbal, we’ll visit the Saint Filipe Castle, and the downtown, where you can appreciate the local gastronomy by having lunch at one of the local fish restaurants.
After lunch, we’ll visit the Palmela Castle. Afterwards, we’ll cross one of the longest bridges in Europe – The Vasco da Gama Bridge –, heading back to Lisbon.
